With a big trip to foreign lands planned (Norfolk is foreign to us!) Miss Daisy has been off for her medical check up and to receive her inoculations. As with all the best medicals, Miss Daisy spent 3 hours pounding the treadmill whilst various wires, tubes and other paraphernalia were connected to some of the most intimate parts of her body! As can be seen from the picture, it was a case of “open wide” and then the specialists got to work, resulting in a full health check and a detailed assessment.
The general impression was for a lady of her tender years, Miss Daisy was ticking along quite nicely but with a new regime to follow and a few tweaks here and there, Miss Daisy should emerge even more spritely than ever. We are assured that various improvements have been put in place and were given the graph detailed to prove it. Needless to say, as with all medical terminology, we don’t understand a word of it but Miss Daisy has been given the all clear for the marathon this weekend.
